Dining and drinking in Cefalù
Cefalù is home to many amazing restaurants, bars and casual dining options. These are a few of Little Italian Kitchen's favourite spots. These aren’t sponsored or commission-based picks — just genuine recommendations from our own experience. If I’m not at Little Italian Kitchen, there’s a good chance you’ll find me at one of these spots!
Bars
Neo Mediterraneo Vibes
Fri Trafficanti
Bordomari Lounge Bar
If you're looking for a good cocktail, this is the place. Expert mixologists, superior ingredients and hosted by a wonderful Sicilian couple Jalel and Silvia. Live music Thursday - Saturday (but always great company)
Location: Via Vanni 100
Another great spot for cocktails, this is an alfresco bar near Lungo Mare with drinks served by super friendly staff. Fri has a fantastic gin list, regularly has live music - and does a really delicious aperitivo.
Location: Piazza Cristoforo Colombo
A stunning spot to watch the sun set while enjoying aperitivo. Bordomari is a beautiful lounge bar with an incredible pier that stretches across the water. One of the most magical (and romantic) bars in town.
Location: Via Bordonaro 50
Restaurants
Cucina 22 Isolana
A memorable culinary experience with a menu put together by innovative, passionate young chefs. A beautiful restaurant interior with alfresco dining also available. Great value set menu!
Location: Via Porto Salvo 67
Cala Luna
Michelin Guide, fine dining. A stunning setting with beautifully executed dishes, an outdoor kitchen and seating that overlooks the port. The food is innovative with a carefully curated wine list.
Location: Le Calette Hotel
Chez Hugo
A new addition to Cefalù (opened 2025), Chez Hugo is absolutely worth a visit. It's a pretty little bistro tucked down a side street near the Duomo with an excellent Pasta Taianu.
Location: Via Seminario
History Pinsa
Fermento 2.0
Porto Ossuna
Absolutely delicious pinsa (roman style pizza made with a rice and soy flour base) and incredibly good value. A super friendly family run business - and rightfully very popular.
Location: Via Porto Salvo 62
Absolutely delicious woodfired pizzas. Definitely worth booking a table - otherwise pick up a takeaway and take it down to Lungo Mare and enjoy pizza on the beach.
Location: Piazza Cristoforo Colombo
A picturesque lunch spot perfect for enjoying a glass of wine, a big plate of seafood pasta or a seriously good salad and a glass of wine while overlooking the Lungo Mare beach.
Location: Beginning of Lungo Mare
Must visits...

Cangelosi
A local Cefalù secret, Cangelosi does best cannoli and cartoccio with a perfectly smooth and perfectly sweetened ricotta. Close to the train station but it's likely you'd trundle right past it if you don't know it's there.
Location: Via Aldo Moro 13
Al Caffè
My favourite spot to stop for coffee. Sit alongside the locals chatting in Sicilian while enjoying one of their still warm, fresh-from-the-oven pastries. The best calzone and arancina in town (make sure you try the raüu).
Location: Via Matteotti 53
Angolo Delle Dolcezze
Delicious pastries, good coffee and an outstanding salted peanut gelato. This pasticceria is a popular destination for locals wanting celebration desserts or cakes but also a good spot for Sicilian sweets.
Location: Via Pietro Novelli 2-4
Zagara Juice Bar
Make sure this is on your list! Generous fruit salads, homemade granita, delicious smoothies and incredible fresh fruit cocktails - all at a great prices. Pick up something and wander down to the 'Molo' to enjoy it.
Location: Via Vittorio Emanuele 84

Di Vino
Another secret spot selling incredibly cheap (but great quality!) cleanskin wine. Yes it comes in plastic bottles - but you'll only pay €3-€4 a bottle.
Location: Via Gibilmanna16
Karma
While this cute little place is open for lunch and dinner, it's a great option for anyone craving a slightly healthier breakfast than pastries! The overnight oats are delicious and it's probably the best coffee in town.
