Ciao from Little Italian Kitchen

MY STORY

After years working in marketing, communications and sales back home in Aotearoa | New Zealand I decided to leave the corporate world behind to follow a lifelong, childhood dream - to become a chef. And what better place to chase that dream than Italy?!

I spent time working in restaurants across Italy but decided I much preferred being on the other side of the kitchen - the dining side. But still, my love for cooking and learning never left and I realised my real passion was not just making beautiful food, but helping others discover the joy of making it too.

Little Italian Kitchen was born from a dream to teach the simple pleasures of Italian cuisine - fresh pasta, beautiful plating techniques and how to prepare delicious tasting (and looking!) dishes. It's a place to connect with people, share stories, and create memorable experiences centred around food and wine.

At Little Italian Kitchen, I keep my classes small - no more than eight participants - so you’ll have plenty of personal time with me throughout the experience. I was trained in the techniques of northern Italian cuisine (think delicious stuffed fresh pasta like ravioli, tortellini, and agnolotti), but my heart.- and my kitchen - are firmly rooted here in Sicily. I teach my students how to combine the finesse of the north with the bold, rustic flavours of the south. From mastering pasta dough to understanding the soul of Sicilian ingredients, you'll leave my home feeling confident, inspired, and ready to bring a little piece of Sicily into yours.
